“I believe that faith is both what we believe and how we live our lives because of this belief. Living our faith encourages us to care for one another in our congregation, serve those in need in our community and serve as God’s hands, feet, voice and heart in our community and in our world.
I see ministry as a three-way partnership between the pastor, the congregation and God. When all three work together we are fulfilling Christ’s mission for the church. All of God’s people are called into God’s service to participate in and extend the ministry of Jesus Christ. God calls each of us to be active members in the church, to worship in community and to serve one another and our neighbors. My goal is to empower and encourage the members of a congregation to see their role as a partnership in ministry with me as we grow spiritually and grow God’s church.”
